Studio jewelry was a term applied to artists who made jewelry often using unconventional materials, sometimes of little value, and juxtaposing them with different metals. Popularly used to describe sculptural jewelry from the 1930s to 1960s that tended to be one-of-a-kind or limited edition. This working method is very similar to what we do in our studio.
